Cast and Crew Needed

Twice the Ice Productions, in association with Resistance Cipher Movie Company will be holding auditions for a high quality short film (20-25 min) to be shot in Mid-August. Writer/Director IX Mendoza (A Moment in Ruby, Privileged Information) and Producers Travis Davis and Abe Enochs (Dead on Sight, The Drifter) are casting for Venting Anger, a character driven drama based on a true story.

First round of auditions will be held on June 29th PLEASE call or email for location and time. Also Please bring headshot resume (if you have them), but if this is your first audition, you won’t be turned away.
Auditions will be emotionally intense, please come prepared to work and stay for a while. If you are auditioning for the part of Tim Jr., please let us know, as you will need some script pages to help prepare.

Actors outside of Arizona can make arrangements to send in demo reel and/or

Tim Jr.—Male, early 30’s. Role requires longish hair, preferably dark brown
or black. Tim is extremely skittish and has peculiar speech pattern. Actor must be very
strong and willing to delve deeply into study of character.
Detective Ochoa—Male 30-50.
Detective Hernandez—Male or Female 25-50
Tim Sr.—40-50 (intense role of alcoholic abuser)
Dinah—Mother role, 30-35 (abused, co-dependent type)
Mrs. Nguyen—45-70, Vietnamese or Chinese, this is a small but very important role;
actress must be able to convey strong emotion in a quiet and stoic way.
Bank Teller—Female, 18-50
Café Hostess—18-35
Megan --Café Waitress 18-25, good looking, very friendly and upbeat.
Punk Rock Girl—18-30, Must have brightly colored hair, multiple piercing and tattoos,
and very unique boots.

We will also be looking for multiple tertiary roles and extras. Some of the lead roles will be paid. Meals will be provided. Credit and DVD copies for all.

Set Designer/Supervisor—helpful if you have an assistant you trust
Set Design Assistant/Dresser
Set Construction Lead
Costume Designer—can be the same person as Set Designer if capable.
