By popular demand EslingerJoyce Entertainment has invited improv and acting coach Terry Spector (actor from "Walker, Texas Ranger") back to Tucson!  

 

Attendee's of this seminar will learn valuable COMMERCIAL and DRAMA acting techniques.  Each attendee will get a copy of their DEMO REEL (to be recorded in class at no extra charge).  Also, each attendee will be auditioned near the end of class for Lionsgate's new film "Necromentia" slated to shoot in Tucson this November.  -We want newcomers and sage actors alike to have a fair chance to snag a role!

 

WHEN: Sunday, November 2 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 PM.  There will be two brief breaks throughout the 5 hours. 

 

WHERE: University of Arizona Theatre Arts Building, Rm. 266 (right across from the main office).  The Theatre Arts building is located on the southeast corner of PARK and SPEEDWAY BLVD.

 

HOW MUCH:  The class is $65.00 and half-price for Theatre Arts Students (or College I.D.).  There is going to be limited seating so please contact Eslingerjoyce Entertainment at eslingerjoyce@gmail.com to reserve a spot or for any inquiries.

  

WHAT TO BRING:  Yourself and the desire to fine-tune your craft.

 

 

WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE:

 

-A package of acting exercises and tips from the industry's best teachers.

 

-Coupon for discounted Head-shots will be included in each grab bag. ($25 for 3 professional photographs). These professional head-shots will be taken from an A-list photographer.  They are extremely discounted (typically ranging from $150-$300)

 

-We will have snack foods and beverages for the class.  

 

-We will hold auditions for supporting and principle extra roles for the movie "Necromentia" (distribution by Lionsgate and Bleiberg Entertainment).

 

-Props and sides will be provided for the filming portion of your COMMERCIAL audition.

 

-We will give each student a DVD of their practice scenes for their Reel. (Impress your friends and family).

CLASS CONTENT

1. Improv warm ups - 20 to 35 minutes

 

2. Actor Connection exercises - 1 hour

 

3. Preparing "Sides" for auditions "ADPANTS" - 30 to 45 minutes (Work on Your Commercial Skills)

 

4. Scene study - 1 1/2 to 2 hours ("Necromentia" script sides will be provided for auditions - DRAMATIC).
    -Other sides will also be provided at attendee's choice (Drama and Comedy).

 

5. Slating for Auditions - 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours  (Making a personal DVD of each class attendee's Commercial and  
    Dramatic audition - 1 for each student).
