AUDITIONS

The Arizona Repertory Theatre is seeking youth performers for its productions of

MEDEA and THE MUSIC MAN

 

Auditions for both shows will be held in the Theatre Arts building

on the University of Arizona campus on

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 8 FROM 11AM-2PM

 

MEDEA

Seeking two young male actors, capable of playing seven years old

Rehearsal Dates: December 8-9 and January 12-February 7

Performance Dates: February 8-March 1, Tornabene Theatre

Actors should prepare: a one-minute monologue or be able to tell a joke or a oneminute

short story. Materials will also be available at the audition to read.

 

THE MUSIC MAN

Seeking several young male and female actors who can sing

The role of Amaryllis requires a young female actor who can play at least basic piano

Rehearsal Dates: February 9-April 10 (no rehearsals March 15-22)

Performance Dates: April 12-May 3, Tornabene Theatre

Actors should prepare: 16-32 bars of a song AND a one-minute monologue or be

able to tell a joke or a one-minute short story.

Materials will also be available at the audition to read & sing

An accompanist will be provided

 

YOUTH PERFORMERS CAN AUDITION FOR ONE OR BOTH SHOWS

NO APPOINTMENTS ARE NEEDED
