Subject: LTW holding auditions for THE SANTALAND DIARIES...
ETCETERA, the late-night series at Live Theatre Workshop, is holding auditions for the upcoming production of THE SANTALAND DIARIES by David Sedaris. THE SANTALAND DIARIES is a one-man show about the horrors of working as an elf in Macy's Santaland in New York City and is based on David Sedaris' best-selling essay of the same name from his book HOLIDAYS ON ICE.
The role to be filled is that of a male between the ages of 20 and 35 with a dark sense of humor and the stamina and charm to carry a 45 minute monologue.
Rehearsals begin the first week of November and the show itself runs November 28th - December 13th, 2008, Friday and Saturday evenings at 10:30 PM. This production will be directed by Shana Nunez. Auditions are by appointment only and can be made by calling or emailing ETCETERA Director Christopher Johnson at (520) 481-1449 or CorpusChristopher@hotmail.com. Auditions will consist of a short interview and a cold reading from the script. No prepared monologues, please.
