Subject: Arizona Theatre Company Education Department Announces Audition Workshop
The Education Department at Arizona Theatre Company announces a one-time, three hour class entitled “How to Audition for a Musical.” The class will be conducted by Christopher McGovern, a New-York based teacher and music director who has worked with ATC in the past on The Pajama Game and on ATC’s current production of Hair.
The class will be held in the rehearsal hall at the Temple of Music and Art (330 S. Scott Avenue) on Tuesday, December 16th from 6-9PM. The fee for the class is $50.
Information covered will include aspects of musical theatre auditions including how you should select your headshots, what you should prepare ahead of time and the do’s and don’ts of audition etiquette.
Don’t miss this valuable educational opportunity to learn from a professional music director how to shine at your next musical theatre audition.
For questions or to register for the class, call Sara Bernstein at 520-884-8210 x6503. The class size is limited to 15 so early registration is encouraged. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Your registration will not be complete until payment has been received.
