What can non-profit performing arts organizations do to survive and even thrive in the current economy? Get tips and proven strategies in areas such as fundraising, building more effective boards of trustees, budgeting and marketing from Michael W. Kaiser, president of the Kennedy Center, at one of the two Arts in Crisis public forums on Monday April 12.

In Tucson, the session will be moderated by Bill Buckmaster of Arizona Public Media and Tucson Pima Arts Council Executive Director, Roberto Bedoya. In Phoenix, Executive Director of the Arizona Commission on the Arts, Robert Booker, will conduct an interview with Michael Kaiser and invite questions from the audience.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Parking will be available on the University of Arizona Campus Mall in front of the Stevie Eller Dance Theatre for a $5 fee. See the Tucson Pima Arts Council website for a map and additional parking information.
