Subject: Chamber Music PLUS announces 2010-2011 Season
Chamber Music PLUS
April, 2010
We are thrilled to announce the 2010-2011 Season of Rhythms of LIFE.
Hard to believe we are about to embark on our 8th season. It seems like yesterday we just began, and here we are seven years later.
You, our loyal audience, are THE principal reason for this accomplishment.
We thank you for your past support and promise to continue to offer our unique programs that you have come to enjoy. We pledge to maintain the quality of our performers and try to stay healthy, both physically and financially!
And personally, THANK YOU for allowing me the time to heal and get back on stage and for all your encouraging messages and prayers.
Sincerely,
Sanda Schuldmann
Chamber Music PLUS
Early Bird Subscriptions on sale now. Offer good through June 10, 2010.
Through our seven-year history, we have kept the price of Early Bird subscriptions at $90 for five events. By every one's admission the best bargain in Arizona for quality artistic presentations.
We are adjusting our prices for the next season because we have to.
Here is the reason why:
State support has become practically non existent. Tucson Pima Arts Council has not yet announced a grant cycle, and the AZ Commission on the Arts has reduced its support by 80%.
Therefore we have priced our EB subscriptions at $125 for five events which still makes EB subscribers able to purchase tickets for $25/seat.
We are offering 4 shows ( minus the Watts show) for the old $90 price for the season. With additional seats to subscribers at $30/tix.
Individual tickets next season are $36 for all shows except the Watts event.
Individual seats for the Watts show are $60.
All subscribers will be treated to a special Clark-Schuldmann Duo event to be announced early in the fall.
We thank all of you who have already renewed or joined CMP for the next season, and we are especially grateful for those who also included letters and contributions.

2010-2011 Rhythms of LIFE
Experience the Power and the Passion
To say that we are excited that André Watts will be performing in the new production of Lisztian Loves is an under statement. We are thrilled, honored and very pleased to give you the rare opportunity to enjoy this world renowned artist in the intimacy that the Berger Performing Arts Center offers.
André has been my mentor, idol and friend since 1969, when I met him in Austin, TX while performing in a master class he offered. We have remained close friends ever since.
He has been a mentor to both Harry and I, throughout our musical lives, and it is a great pleasure to have him as our guest next April.
In addition, we tried to honor your endorsements of some of our guest artists this past season. Thus we are very pleased to have Bob Clendenin return for the world premiere of Four Seasons- Antonio Vivaldi, and joining him will be Aaron Boyd, TSO's concertmaster, whom you raved about.
Harry Clark will make his debut as a triple player- story writer, cellist and actor in God Glimmer.
Finally we are kicking of the season with the Bolling Bonanza. Claude Bolling lovers will be treated to 3 of his works including the rarely performed Two Piano Sonata, with yours truly and Sly Slipetsky at the pianos. If you are curious about this rarely performed work click here.
Last but not least, Still Life- Frida Kahlo and Georgia O'Keeffe.
I hope you will agree this is a varied and exciting season and I do hope that you will join us. For a copy of our Early Bird subscription to download, http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/sandatucson/Photo%20Zenvelopes/EBSUBFORM10-11.jpg
Save $79 over the cost of individual tickets. EB subscriptions are the most economical way to go.
Offer Expires: June 10, 2010
