The Arizona Repertory Singers are auditioning for all voice parts starting August 3. The 50-voice mixed ensemble, called Tucson’s crown jewel of choral groups, rehearses Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 2331 E. Adams St. The first rehearsal of the season will be August 24.

Now celebrating its 27th season, the ensemble is known for its musicianship and its delightfully eclectic repertoire, which spans everything from Renaissance and classical works to Americana, spirituals, modern music and new works commissioned for the group. The choir is directed by Dr. Jeffry A. Jahn. There's a behind the scenes at ARS documentary on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KC36kEt_3M

Prospective members should have previous choral experience and be able to read music. Call
