Children's Theater Program Seeks Actors
The Parks & Recreation Division is offering a Children's Theater program this summer. The program is open to those ages 8-18. Participants will learn stage presence and movement, voice projection, interpretation of characters along with all other aspects involved in the production of a play. This year's production will be Alice in Wonderland Jr. Cost of the program is $35. If you are interested in participating, we will have informal auditions on Friday, June 3 at the Dorothy Powell Senior Adult Center beginning at 6pm. All participants will have a part in the play; however, their role will be dependent upon their audition. The program will be held Monday through Thursday from June 6-July 9 from 5:30pm-8pm.
