Becky’s New Car

AUDITIONS: Saturday May 19th, 2012 from 10am-1pm  
                   Callbacks 2pm -4pm (same day)


LOCATION: Beowulf Alley Theatre: 11 South 6th Avenue Tucson, AZ 85701
 
WHAT TO PREPARE:
Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Sides will be available at the auditions and are also available via email request: carriekhill@gmail.com Full scripts are also available upon request via email. 
 
*Actors will be paid a stipend*
 
SCHEDULING AN AUDITION TIME:
Auditions are by appointment only will be scheduled for 15 minute blocks starting at 10am until 1 pm. Please contact Carrie at carriekhill@gmail.com to schedule an audition time. Please write Becky Auditions in the subject line.
 
SYNOPSIS:
Forty-something Becky Foster has a decent job at an auto dealership, a solid husband, and a freeloading psych major son living in her basement. Her life is pleasant enough, but through a twist of fate Becky gets to test drive an exciting new life. …and the audience is offered a chance to ride shotgun in a way that most plays wouldn't dare.
 
PARTS AVAILABLE:
Walter- a very wealthy business man, widowed, late 40’s – late 50’s
Chris Foster – Becky’s son, a psychology student, early 20’s
Kenniston (Kenni) Flood  - Walter, the widowed millionaire’s daughter, early 20’s
 
PRODUCTION DATES:
Preview: Thursday, October 11th, 2012
Run: October 12 – 28th, 2012
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:30pm
Close: Sunday October 28th, 2012
 
**All performances for Sacred Chicken Productions will be at Beowulf Alley Theatre
