MAGIC HOUR: Works of Fiction by UA’s BFA Junior Class at The Loft Cinema
TUCSON, ARIZONA – Free and open to the public, The Loft Cinema presents a screening of short student films titled, Magic Hour, fiction films by the BFA junior class, on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 7:00pm.
What does a Beatles tribute band, masturbation, love (requited), our animalistic nature, good people doing bad things, a psychopath with a good sense of fashion, a very angry father, love (unrequited), and a smart 10-year old girl have in common? They are all part of Magic Hour, a free screening highlighting short fiction films made by this year’s junior BFA students in the University of Arizona's School of Theatre, Film & Television!
STARS IN STILL WATER (6 min) A film by Fiona Foster and Cylan Shaffer Avid thrifter Ryan draws parallels between an unsolved puzzle and his negative feelings from a failed relationship.
