Project Title: Aves Sobre Barro (Birds Over Mud)
Project Description:
The (low budget, independent) film will be shot in Tucson, Phoenix and San Diego between December 2012 and March 2012. The Romantic Drama centers on Solano, an aspiring photographer, as he attempts to recover his humanity by letting go of all worldly attachments.
Nic:
Male, 18-25. Nic is a gay, bipolar man who yearns to create a stable home and relationship. He has spent most all of his adult life under the haze of psychotropic medication and is desperate to live and love with a clear mind.
Ave:
Female, 20-28. Ave is a Mexican woman who fell in love with an American citizen. The love of her life (and the man she followed to the United States) has turned out to be a controlling and abusive monster. She dreams of returning home to her family and leaving her dangerous life behind her.
Mr. Garica:
Male, 45-55. Mr. Garcia is a successful businessman who realizes he has failed as a husband and father and seeks to redeem himself by sharing his wisdom with Solano.
