Chamber Music PLUS reschedules November 25, season opener

New date is Sunday, March 3 @ 3 PM.

Chamber Music PLUS's season-opening concert by the Clark-Schuldmann Duo, originally scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 25, has been rescheduled. Cellist and artistic director Harry Clark is undergoing a medical procedure November 13 that may leave him too little time and energy to prepare for the performance.

The concert has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m., and will now take place at:

Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church
2331 East Adams Street (1 block south of the Arizona Inn).

The Berger was unavailable for this date. March 3, 2013 seems to be the best date in regards to possible conflicts with any other arts events, thus avoiding your need to choose!

Tickets for the Nov. 25 concert will be honored on the new date. Patrons who are not able to attend the rescheduled concert may donate the cost of their tickets back to Chamber Music PLUS, or may request an exchange ticket for an other event during the 2012-13 season.

The program will remain the same, featuring Sergei Prokofiev's impish but lyrical Cello Sonata, Manuel de Falla's fiery and folk-inspired Suite Populaire Espagnol, Robert Schumann's Five Pieces in Folk Style, and Francois Couperin's Pieces en Concert.

Please help us spread the word regarding the change to your friends who might not have access to a computer, or are not on our email list.

For all who ordered additional tickets, your credit cards have not been charged. If you can use additional seats for the concert at the rescheduled time, we will be happy to hear from you and we will charge your cards at that time.

The remaining shows of the 2012-13 season will not be affected by this change.

Harry and Sanda apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and vow to be back at full force for the rest of the season, which will continue Jan. 4-6 with actor Bob Clendenin starring in a new show celebrating the 100th anniversary of maverick composer John Cage; Jan. 27, Michael Learned and Richard Thomas will perform together for the first time since The Waltons in Confidentially, Chaikovski; Feb. 15-17 marks the world premiere of Passionately, Piazzolla in collaboration with Ballet Tucson and the Tucson Desert Song Festival; and April 7 brings Sisters of the Garden, about the sisters Boulanger & Mendelssohn, their stories and their music. Full and mini subscriptions are still available.
