Tucson, Arizona-- Pima Community College Music presents the PCC Orchestra in concert under the direction of Alexander Tentser. The spring program features various selections including the celebrated “Polovtsian Dances” by Alexander Borodin (prominently used in the musical "Kismet"), “American in Paris” by George Gershwin, and “Symphony in G Minor #40” by W. A. Mozart, one of the most popular classical compositions of all time.

PCC students, high school students and adults are active participants in the PCC Orchestra performances. The mission of the orchestra is to educate young adults and the Tucson community about orchestral music, including classical and other varieties of musical styles, and to provide the opportunity to perform in a collaborative group setting.

Pima Community College Center for the Arts is located on the West Campus just west of downtown and I-10 on St. Mary’s Rd, which turns into Anklam Rd. Box office hours are Tuesday-Friday, noon to 5 p.m. and one hour prior to performance.
