More than just the Beatles, Backbeat's production of Get Back takes you back to 1964 with songs by iconic British groups such as the Zombies, The Rolling Stones, Dave Clark Five, and The Who. Audiences will be amazed by the full sound meticulously recreated by just four musicians. This show is pure 60s Rock 'n Roll as it was intended to be.
Backbeat has been playing sold out rock and roll shows in Tucson since 2010. The group features Walker Foard on lead vocals and guitar, Jon Westfall on drums, and Larry Lee Lerma on bass and vocals, and Michael P. Nordberg on guitar and vocals.
Rather than spotlighting one artist, the band focuses on 1960s hits from numerous artist. The show spans the entire era. Audience members who remember the 1960s are likely to recognize many familiar songs during the show. Backbeat performs a wide array of hits that sound just like the record. Those authentic sights and sounds allow those who were there in the '60s to relive one of the most prolific times in music history.
Younger members of the audience will also get a chance to experience the past. Younger concertgoers get a fun and exciting glimpse of what it was like back then. There really is something in it for everyone.
