Leonard and Anne are two lovers travelling on the Dover Road when their car breaks down. They are taken to a hotel, which turns out to be the private residence of the eccentric, wealthy, and reclusive Mr. Latimer. Leonard and Anne soon discover that they are not the only couple to have been waylaid on the road. What does the mysterious Mr. Latimer have in store for these couples? Find out in this classic Milne comedy!

POSTPONEMENT
*The Best of Comedy Genius performance (originally slated from April 10-April 19) has been temporarily POSTPONED. The next stage play requires some extra construction, so we will postpone the Comedy Genius performance to allow for that construction to happen.
*The auditions we've held over the past few weeks were spectacular! We are thrilled to see interest in our theatre beginning to bloom. Within the next few months, we will be introducing some new faces to our stage. We could not be more excited to welcome more friends into our theatre family. Thank you to everyone who came out to audition for us! (And thank you if you told someone about them!)
WE WANT YOU!
The Comedy Playhouse needs your help! We have very loyal and dedicated theatre family that pulls together in order to keep the Comedy Playhouse running. When not acting in shows, you can see our actors performing other duties, such as servicing the front desk, greeting guests, running lights and sound, cleaning and organizing the theatre, designing and building sets, maintaining our website, taking care of publicity, and keeping our supplies stocked and readied. We love what we do... but we would love to have a few extra helping hands! That's where you come in!
We are looking for more dedicated volunteers to help us keep the theatre in tip-top shape. Your duties would be chosen based upon your preferences and skills. Our volunteers would help us with the following tasks:
- Operating the front of house during shows (greet guests, handle ticket money)
- Ushering guests to their seats
- Operate the light and sound programs (all computer-based)
- Build sets for shows
- Cleaning and organizing prop room and backstage area
- Cleaning the stage, audience seating, bathroom, front of house area
- Maintain and update our website
If you have other skills that you feel would benefit our theatre, please feel free to ask! You as our audience are an integral part of the theatre.
