A man who wears many hats, Arizona Opera’s General Director Ryan Taylor has dusted off his former role as a successful baritone to perform for one night only in Phoenix and Tucson.
Prior to his arrival in the Southwest, Ryan’s career as an acclaimed baritone led him on a wacky, zig-zagging trip around the globe; from his early days of showing off his vocal chops at BBQ’s in his hometown in Atlanta to a bustling career which took him from New York City to Munich to Seattle to Shanghai…even to Bar Harbor, Maine.
South to Southwest: A Musical Travelography is the one and (he promises) only chance to hear Ryan perform songs and arias he collected during this chapter in his operatic life. Your ticket is entirely tax deductible, and all proceeds will benefit Arizona Opera.
