A Message from AZ Production Association President Michael Ohrling

My dear friends,

My wife Lea and I have just finished writing Governor Doug Ducey to request the reinstatement of the State Film Office for Motion Picture Production. I am writing to you to urge you to do the same. Time is critical and of the essence for this to have the right impact, and we have asked everyone to come together for this important request of our industry to the Governor.

It is important to also understand that this request reaches beyond the film community. Residents across this state in many occupations are able to benefit from the creation of this office. Simply put, as the incremental revenue to the State increases so does the tax revenue, allowing the state to fund even more of the programs necessary to continue our quality of life. I urge you to ask as many friends and neighbors as you can to write to the Governor's Office requesting this formation of the State Film Office.

You may find the information you need at: http://www.azproduction.com/news-events/help-bring-back-arizona-state-film-office/. Should you need additional information and want to speak with someone directly, please don't hesitate to call me anytime at 602-694-0248 or write me at  mohrling@cox.net.

Thank you for your help,

Michael Ohrling

2015 President

Arizona Production Association
