By Emmerich Kálmán
Arizona Opera becomes the first major U.S. opera house to premiere Emmerich Kálmán’s musical treasure. Reminiscent of the greatest Golden-age Hollywood musical comedies, is full of lively, upbeat music, cheerful, soaring arias, and a wacky libretto, sure to make you smile as bright as the Arizona sun.
Performed in German, English and Spanish with English supertitles.
New English/Spanish translation by Kathleen Kelly and Alberto Rios
Original libretto by Alfred Grünwald and Gustave Beer
By arrangement with Boosey & Hawkes, Inc., Agent in the USA for Josef Weinberger, Ltd., London, publisher and copyright owner.
