The Comedy Playhouse

Come for the fun of it!

We are the Comedy Playhouse.  It has always been our mission to bring you the best in comedy- from updated versions of classic favorites to the side-splitting new plays from local authors.  Sadly, our world has become tumultuous of late.  It can be easy to get caught up in the roller-coaster of emotions.  If laughter is the best medicine, let us be your doctor.  Come for the fun of it!

Upcoming Productions

Monty Falls Hard-- You still have a chance to catch this production of Mike Wilkinson's murder mystery!  The show closes on March 12, so get your seats booked!

The Day The Earth Went Dim-- The Comedy Playhouse will be hosting this production of Dave Sewell's radio drama.  Science fiction, mystery... giant robots?  Revisit the nostalgic feel of a radio performance with this locally written show!  The Day The Earth Went Dim will open on March 17 and run through March 26.

The Importance of Being Ernestine-- Local playwright Pere Summers has adapted the Oscar Wilde classic specifically for our stage!  We've set the play in the 1960s and changed the gender of a few characters- come and see what mischief they get up to in this production!  This show runs from March 31 through April 23.

Rabbit Hood-- Active Imagination Theater will be bringing their interactive, improvised Easter children's show to our stage!  Rabbit Hood steals eggs from Farmer Brown to give to Friar Duck.  But Charlie's Chicks have captured Rabbit Hood and thrown him in jail!  How will Friar Duck get his Easter eggs now?!  Bring your kids to see these fun, interactive performances.  They will be on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM from April 1 through April 15.
