PARENTS OF TEENS: Looking for some QUIET during the afternoon this summer?

Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 can explore the basic elements of improvisational comedy in this newly designed summer workshop produced and hosted by the Unscrewed Theater Training Center.

 

The core elements of the Summer Improv Workshop for Teens include the essentials of being a GREAT improv performer. Students will learn:

·         Agreement

·         Listening

·         Confidence

·         Team work

·         Opting for honest and organic choices

 

Mike Vietinghoff, Co-Instructor and an Unscrewed Theater House Team performer says, "We teach our teen students various improv games and scene work that help reinforce and build strong set of values."

 

Teens learn how to build trust, improve communication skills, develop character(s), and make your scene partner look fantastic. AND IT'S FUN! Participants will be allowed to be goofballs in a safe, supervised environment!

 

The Teen Summer Workshop is a two-week session offered TWICE during the summer –

 

1^st session Begins Monday, June 12^th through Friday June 23^rd from Noon-4pm M-F

2^nd session Begins Monday, July 10^th through Friday June 21^st from Noon-4pm M-F

 

There will be a Student showcase with free admission open to the public held on the last Friday of each session at Unscrewed Theater, 3244 E Speedway Blvd. Tucson 85716

 

Tuition: $350 (EARLY BIRD SPECIAL – $275: ENDS THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 31ST)

Includes FREE Unscrewed Theater T-shirt!

 

Unscrewed Theater is located at 3244 E. Speedway Blvd. Tucson, AZ 85716 (across from The Loft Cinema, next to Fronomo's). Parking and entrance are located in the rear of the building. Turn in to the Walgreen's parking lot and go to the left around the building.

 

Unscrewed Theater is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching, performing, and producing all forms of live improvisational theater in Tucson, AZ.
