The Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona and Steve Kozachik, Ward 6 Council Member have teamed up to create a celebratory event to highlight arts and culture in our community: "Tucson: People, Politics, and Culture."
This event is a family-friendly, collective performance in celebration of the diverse creativity that exists in our community. We invite all artist-types and culture-makers to attend and present for 4-5 minutes on a piece of art or in their chosen creative form – whether it be music, dance, poetry and spoken word, meditation, design, textiles, painting, culinary work, theater and short acts, short films, photography. Through your participation, we will create a shared vision and voice as to why funding for the arts is important.
If you would like to participate, please fill out the Fillable Participant CTA Ward 6 PDF Form and email back to info@artsfoundtucson.org by March 18, 2017.
