Old Pueblo Playwrights 27^th Annual New Play Festival

This Monday, February 12^th, 7:00 p.m. sharp

(Callbacks on same night)

ATC Rehearsal Hall (upstairs, behind the Cabaret Theater)

At the Temple of Music and Art

330 S. Scott, Downtown Tucson

The Details:

• The Old Pueblo Playwrights' 27^th Annual New Play Festival will run Thursday through Sunday, April 12 - 15, 2018.
• There are great roles available for men and women of all types and ages.
• For the audition please prepare/bring a 1-minute monologue. You can memorize your piece or read from a script. It's all in the performance!
• Your audition will be performed before a panel that includes playwrights and directors of all the plays in the festival. Callbacks will be the same night.
• Directors and playwrights will select whom they would like to cast for each production. (Actors will receive a small honorarium for participation.)
• There will be 3 to 6 regular rehearsals and one tech rehearsal for each show.
• All productions will be "script-in-hand" performances. This means actors will be able to use the script during the live performance. Performances will conclude with a talk-back between the audience, cast, and director. This is an exciting opportunity for actors to participate in the development and advancement of new works for the theatre!
