Subject: Open to all performing artists
We are welcoming any interested performers and entertainment bookers of all types to visit The O and go over a simple outline of what to prepare if you want to pitch a show or submit for potential bookings at our club. It's similar to what other venues expect, so experienced performers and producers will likely have all of this information anyway. None of it is overly complex, so the in-person workshop is just so that we can answer any questions and provide more detailed explanations if need be.
Note that since we book all sorts of entertainment, from comedy to music to dance revues, this is not limited to any one type of entertainment. There will NOT be any sort of workshop on actual performance. We are just showing you a simple way to prepare a package to submit for consideration for booking purposes.
This event is free to attend, and standard bar and kitchen service will be available for anyone interested. There is no minimum purchase of drink or food required.
Feel free to bring business cards if you want to stick around after the workshop to network and mingle.
