We need your POETRY!

We would like to get a virtual open mic going for the LUNADA series. Apart from the featured poets, we want to also give space to "open mic" participants. Send us a video of yourself reciting your original poetry (3 minutes max) and you could be part of an upcoming Lunada. Feel free to get creative with your background, make up, clothing... or just keep it clean and simple. We are looking to fill 30 open mic slots (5 per event) for the entire series.

Submission Tips:

1.  Good lighting and audio goes a long way.

2.  Keep in mind Lunadas are a community ritual for soul healing through poetry.

Send a link (YouTube, Vimeo) or your video file to veronica@borderlandstheater.org by June 12 to be considered for the Lunada dates.

Call for Scripts for INGENIO 2020

Milagro Theatre of Portland is seeking un-produced scripts for it's fourth annual INGENIO 2020 festival. Through INGENIO, Milagro Theater seeks to create a space where Latino/a/x playwrights of all races can develop their plays in a safe, supportive environment with mentors and artists to whom they can relate. INGENIO serves as an intrinsic step in the creation of new full-length theatrical works. Rehearsals and workshops culminate in readings and feedback sessions with audiences of theatre professionals and members of the public.
