To the Next Unscrewed House Party

This Saturday, we're changing up our weekly family-friendly party
with a special guest!

Unscrewed Theater is thrilled to invite Scotty Watson into our homes and on to our virtual stage!

Scotty Watson is an alumnus of The Second City Canadian National Touring Company & taught improv & advanced sketch writing for The Second City NYC. He is currently the Master Teacher & Head of NYC Faculty for ANDTheatre Company (Artistic New Directions) in Manhattan.

He has created successful improvisational theater programs for companies and schools around the world. His students perform in theater, on television, and in feature films and include an Academy Award winner.

Scotty also directs comedies for the theater. He recently worked with the Emmy award-winning showrunner of M*A*S*H*, Cheers & Frasier. He has performed as an actor Off-Broadway, on television, in feature films, and recently he had a popular series of TV commercials for the New York market.

This month, he'll not only be performing with us this Saturday, June 20 - he's also teaching a special ShowShop on Friday, June 26!

What's a ShowShop?

It's a SHOW + a WORKSHOP.

In one day, you'll participate in Scotty's Improv Workshop, inspired by the work of Elaine May & Del Close, where you'll learn and practice the 4 basic principles of improvisation:

Make active & positive choices
Support each other
It's an actor's job to justify (work with what you have)
Be seen & be heard

Then, that SAME NIGHT, you'll perform in an online show that will be live streamed on YouTube.

This unique course gives you the chance to hone your chops -
and practice them live!
