Subject: Auditions this weekend - Arizona Onstage Productions - JEWTOPIA

Arizona Onstage Productions, an award winning professional theater company based in Tucson (9 Arizona Daily Star MAC Nominations and 3 wins 2008)  presents Bryan Fogel and Sam Wolfson's fierce comedy JEWTOPIA in Tucson for the first time.  This will be co-directed by Annette Hillman...  JEWTOPIA is the longest running stage comedy in Los Angeles history, and ran for 3 years In New York City.

There are still a few slots open this Saturday - We are looking for a two minute monologue as well as cold reads from provided sides.  Auditions are scheduled from 11 - 3 at ArtFare, 39 North Sixth Ave, just north of Congress in downtown Tucson.  Please email for a slot.  We will take walk-ins, however there might be a wait.  A headshot and resume are a good thing.

JEWTOPIA explores Judaism through warped eyes and battles stereotypes of the faith with comedy and a very huge heart.  The original production of JEWTOPIA is the longest running non-musical in Los Angeles theater history.  It ran for over 2 years to sold-out houses.  The New York production ran for over 3 successful years.

It is not necessary to be Jewish in faith, but, like chicken soup, it might just help.

Many parts are open - for a 'feel' of the show, go to www.jewtopiaworld.com  - .

PARTS AVAILABLE -

CHRIS - non Jew - a Jew wanna be.... Wants to find the perfect Jewish woman... so he never has to make another decision in his life...

ADAM - a "bad Jew" - not up with his faith, and wants to meet a hot non-Jew for true love.

OLDER MAN 1 - plays the role of 'crazy party guy' and Dennis Lipschitz - fun material.

OLDER MAN 2 - Rabbi Schlomo and Irving - again, just great material.

MARCY and ARLENE - older (45 - 55) woman with versatility

GIRL 3 - covers several roles ranging from late 30s's to very nasty teen

ASIAN GIRL - (that's what the script says...)  Anyone that might look like a different ethnic background -

This entire show is SO politically incorrect.  It is nasty, it is fun, and it has heart.

If you are interested in any of these roles, please email your resume (headshot is good too) to
