Hello, everyone! Summer days in Tucson are hot, but once the sun sets, there's no better place to be than enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Even better, get out of the house and dance to the cool music of the Batucaxe Performance Group!

What: Batucaxe Performance Group at "Twilight Thursdays - Brazil Night"

When: Thursday, June 25, 5:30 p.m. (Batucaxe performs at 6:30 and 7:30.)

Where: Tucson Botanical Gardens, 2150 N. Alvernon Way 85712

How much: $7 for adults; $3 for kids aged 4-12. Adult members pay $3.50; Children of members pay $1.50.

Batucax√© is a non-profit drum and dance ensemble and school in Tucson, Arizona. Inspired by the music of Brazil, Batucaxe (pronounced bah-too-cah-SHEY) features the music of many traditions, from Brazil and all over the world. Our goal is to inspire creativity, openness, community solidarity and collective joy, through lessons and classes, outreach programs and high-energy performances. 

Batucax√© Drum school/rehearsal is held on Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Dance classes are held Sundays 5:00-6:15 p.m. with live Drumming!

Both are held at The Rhythm Industry Factory, 1013 S. Tyndall Avenue
