Mark Travis "Staging the Scene" Workshop, August 14 -16, at the Tucson Marriott University Park, 880 E. Second Street. STAGING is a powerful tool that includes individual body language; how characters move in relationship to each other and the space. It illuminates the subtext or unspoken desires, needs, fears and fantasies of the characters.  Actors learn how staging (even self staging) will deepen their own experience, the emotional state of the character and how the audience perceives the character and the scene.They gain techniques that they can use regardless of what the director gives them and how to recognize and overcome staging that is working against them.

At this master workshop, Participating Directors stage two-actor scenes in front of the class as Mark coaches. Cost for actors/directors observing $100.
