Live Theatre Workshop's All Together Theatre Family Series Presents The
Nightingale Adapted by Richard Gremel Music By Michael Martinez Directed by
Christopher Johnson

The classic fairy tale of the Nightingale comes to life in this interactive
new musical adventure.
The Emperor of China has been cursed so that he may never crack a smile, and
the entire kingdom is devoted to breaking the curse. The only hope for a
smile is the nightingale, a bird with a song so beautiful it could put a
smile on anyone's face. The servants fear that the nightingale is not
beautiful enough for the Emperor's tastes, and only something truly
beautiful will break the curse. With the help of the audience, the emperor's
kitchen maid and royal advisor must search for the meaning of true beauty.

This show runs every Sunday at 1:00 pm
June 21 - August 16, 2009
