MESA by Doug Curtis

November 14 – December 2, 2012

The charming Canadian play, MESA, has Paul (our young hero) pressed into service for the family.  His task?  To drive his wife's grandfather from Calgary to the trailer park community where he winters in Mesa, Arizona.  The problem?  Grandfather Bud is 93 years old and determined to get to Mesa without indulging Paul of any of his romantic notions about life on the road and his need to escape life back home.

There are two characters:

Paul:  35-40

Bud:   93

FOX ON THE FAIRWAY by Ken Ludwig

April 17 – May 5, 2013

FOX ON THE FAIRWAY takes audiences on a hilarious romp as two arch-rival country clubs compete in the annual inter-club golf tournament.  With a sizable wager at stake, the contest plays out amidst three love affairs.

There are six characters:

Justin:  Mid 20's, offbeat, sweet, bundle of nerves

Dickie Bell:  Mid 40's, executive director of a country club

Henry Bingham:  Mid 40's, executive director of a rival country club

Pamela:  40's, beautiful, sophisticated

Louise:  20's, a knock-out, good natured and ditzy

Muriel:  40's, Bingham's wife, strong minded
