Tucson: IFASA hosting audition workshop for directors and actors

he Independent Film Association of Arizona (IFASA) is hosting a workshop to teach directors and actors how to get the most out of the audition process. Executive head of television casting and film consultant for MGM studios, Paul Weber, will teach, "The Art of Audition." Paul will share what a casting director looks for in an actor as well as the business aspects of marketing yourself and landing an agent. Actors also have the option to sign up as active participants in a cold reading to be coached by Mr. Weber.

Paul Webers credits include: Stargate Atlantis, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, Hot Tub Time Machine, Red Dawn, Poltergeist, Dead Like Me, James Bond (francise), and Zookeeper.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 12 from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Tucson Marriott University Park, 880 E. 2nd Street. The cost for observing is $90 ($65 for IFASA members).
