Studio Connections' Summer Musical Theatre Camp
This three-week musical theatre camp is for young actors, age 7-18.
JUNE 4-22, 2012 , Monday-Friday, 10 am - 3 PM, on the grounds of St. Francis
in the Foothills, 4625 E. River Rd. (at Swan)
This is a Drama Workshop for the elementary through high school level,
emphasizing the vocal, physical, improvisation and performance skills
required for traditional spoken drama or musical theatre production. This
class includes audition and rehearsal skills, and culminates in a production
of the musical, THE WIZARD OF OZ, on June 21 and 22.
Tuition: $475 (a $50 non-refundable deposit will reserve a space and be
applied to tuition once registered)

Our Instructors:
Robert Encila
is a professional actor, singer, and director of over eighty productions. He
is also a certified master teacher who has worked for twenty-two years in
both public and private schools, and has trained students from the early
grades through college and beyond. He has appeared locally with Borderlands
Theater and Arizona Theatre Company and is a frequent performer at BB King’s
and Birdland in New York City. He is a proud member of Actors’ Equity
Association.
Samantha Cormier
earned her BFA in Theatre from the University of Arizona. She has performed
in, choreographed, designed and directed over 40 productions. She is an
instructor for Youth Theatre at Studio Connections and Live Theatre
Workshop. She was the resident choreographer for Redondo Music Theatre.
Favorite shows directed include You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Once On
This Island, A Year With Frog and Toad, and Godspell, Jr.
