Elwood P. Dowd is a good-natured, mild-mannered eccentric, known in all of the local eateries and saloons in his small town. Elwood is polite, cheerful and always friendly toward strangers. Elwood has just one problematic character trait: His best friend is an invisible six-foot-tall rabbit, Harvey. A beloved classic comedy. One of the most popular plays ever written. Winner of the 1945 Pulitzer Prize, HARVEY ran for 1,775 performances on Broadway and became an Oscar-winning Film with Jimmy Stewart.

From the playwright who wrote and produced extensively for NYPD BLUE and LAW AND ORDER CRIMINCAL INTENT comes this gripping modern thriller about lies, deceit, mystery and...stamp collecting. Twisty encounters with seedy high-stakes collectors make for dangerous, intriguing, fun entertainment  that will have you on the edge of your seat. Contains adult language

COLLECTED STORIES

By Donald Margulies

August 23 - September 22, 2012

Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies chronicles the relationship between two female writers- a celebrated New York author and her young protege. As their story evolves, and the line between fact and fiction blurs, the twists and turns of this complex relationship weave a play that's as smart and witty as it is powerful. "...a well drawn portrait of the insular world of fiction writers, demonstrating Margulies's gift for sharply written and incisive dialogue." -Hollywood Reporter.

FALLEN ANGELS

By Noël Coward

October 11 - November 18, 2012

A brilliant comedy about desperate housewives, this is Noël Coward at his best – sharp, witty and utterly sophisticated. Julia and Jane are the best of friends. Both are married to loving (if slightly dull) husbands, and both have a secret past – an affair with a dashing Frenchman named Maurice. Now, Maurice is back in town, and the two embark on an evening of lusty anticipation and hilarious inebriation as they await his arrival. The 1925 London premiere starred the notorious Tallulah Bankhead.

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY

THE CHOSEN

Adapted by Aaron Posner and Chiam Potok from the novel by Chaim Potok

January 3 - February 9, 2013

A standing-room-only hit wherever it has played, this award-winning adaptation from the award-winning novel is the story of two boys, two fathers, and two very different Jewish communities—"five blocks and a world apart"—in Williamsburgh, Brooklyn, in the 1940s. "…moving…examines the freedom that comes with the passage from childhood to adulthood—intellectual freedom, religious freedom, America's promise of freedom." —Philadelphia Weekly.

REGRETS ONLY

By Paul Rudnick

February 14 - March 24, 2013

This comedy of Manhattan manners explores marriage, friendships and squandered riches. The setting: a Park Avenue penthouse. The players: a powerhouse attorney, his deliriously social wife and their closest friend, one of the world's most staggeringly successful fashion designers. Add all of the one-liners space allows, and the result is a smash-hit comedy. "One of the funniest quipmeisters on the planet...he makes a case for frivolity as an existential choice, for the necessity of laughter." -- New York Times

THE CEMETERY CLUB

By Ivan Menchell

March 28 - April 27, 2013

There's nothing funereal about this sweet and moving comedy! Three widows meet once a month before going to visit their husband's graves. Ida is sweet tempered and ready to begin a new life, but when romance blooms for her with Sam the Butcher, her friends Doris and Lucille sneakily try to squash the budding relationship. "Very touching and humorous. An evening of pure pleasure that will make you glad you went to the theatre."-Washington Journal Newspapers
