Hi everyone,

The Lisa Otey & Friends Concert Series continues Mon., Oct. 27 at 7:00pm with NYC cabaret artist, Brooke Davis!

Brooke Davis has spent her life involved in the arts as a performer, producer, educator and advocate. An unwavering desire to expand her professional career and perform in New York City simmered quietly on the back burner while happily running carpools, bake sales and getting dinner on the table for her two kids, Sarah & Jake, and husband Barry. In 2006, her dreams of pursuing a professional, post-suburban career took off when she landed a role in the huge commercial success, "Menopause the Musical." Brooke performed in several productions as Earth Mother, including long-standing runs in St. Louis, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, New York and Providence. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch called Davis "absolutely hilarious" as Earth Mother with a "terrific voice." In 2009, Brooke Davis took an ambitious leap and moved to NYC. Since then she has appeared in Law & Order, One Life to Live, several theatre projects and shared the big screen with Emma Stone and Kierin Culkin in MOVIE 43.

In 2013, Brooke embraced comedy full on, creating a one-woman show, "I'm so sorry...for everything". Well over six feet tall, practically since birth, her life has been full of interesting comments and missed opportunities. In her cabaret show, Brooke weaves songs through the unbelievable stories of her childhood, bringing us all along for the hilarious ride. She has performed to rave reviews at cabaret clubs, including the Metropolitan Room, in NYC. At her performance in Tucson on Oct. 27, Brooke will give us a glimpse into this production and will also perform a set of humorous and heartfelt Broadway numbers, pop songs and duets with Lisa Otey. Please join us in celebrating one of Tucson's own rising stars!
