If you are an actor, singing actor, theatre teacher, or director curious about the Stanislavsky System of Acting this is a great opportunity for you to try it out!

Stanislavsky Teaching Artist, Philip G. Bennett, will introduce you to Stanislavsky’s inspired ideas about the actor's creative process and how Stanislavsky’s discovery of Psychophysical Actions works. You will be introduced to the tools of the Technique while working on yourself as an actor and working on a character from a play. You may participate or observe.  Phil has been training actors in the System since 1969 and is recognized as one of the foremost authorities of Stanislavsky’s teaching and acting techniques.  His textbook, Experiencing Stanislavsky:  Actor training and performance for the 21st Century is soon to be released by Routledge Academic Publishers, London.

Join us for an active session of on your feet exploration, art, and fun! Experience the Creative Process, ask questions, and find out more about our workshops and classes at The TheatreLab & Conservatory.
