The celebrated, Tony-award winning writing team of Kander and Ebb shines with the
captivating revue of their award-winning songbook The World Goes 'Round.
A thrilling celebration of life, with humor, romance, drama, and nonstop melody, five
individuals, solo and in ensemble, demonstrate their charm, wit, camaraderie, and
musical and theatrical expertise. From Cabaret to Chicago, the hit parade features
unforgettable treasures, including "Mr. Cellophane," "Maybe this Time," "Cabaret,"
and "New York, New York," interwoven into a passionate, harmonious, up-tempo
evening of musical theatre presented in the intimate Cabaret setting with stunning lighting by award winning (Les Miserables) designer Don Fox. Xanadu is not the only musical with singers on roller skates! All five cast members were in our smash hit Les Miserables this last summer.
"The World Goes 'Round: The Songs of Kander and Ebb," is an unexpected delight: a handsome, tasteful, snazzily staged outpouring of song and dance that celebrates all the virtues of the Kander-Ebb catalogue while scrupulously avoiding most of the cloying cliches of and-then-I-wrote anthologies. The revue is sophisticated enough to satisfy aficionados like myself, and welcoming enough to convert new audiences to the Kander-Ebb fold." – Frank Rich, The New York Times -
