UA's Arizona Repertory Theatre Announces its 2015-16 Season!
Tucson, Arizona — The University of Arizona's Arizona Repertory Theatre will kick off its 2015-16 season on September 20, 2015. Single tickets go on sale August 3, 2015 through the Fine Arts Box Office at 520.621.1162 or online at theatre.arizona.edu, with new subscriptions available in June.
"The Arizona Repertory Theatre's 2015-2016 season offers our audiences a chance to think, to love and to laugh," said Artistic Director and Theatre Professor Brent Gibbs. "We start the first half of the season with Neil Simon's hilarious, Barefoot in the Park, which shows us that opposites really do attract. Then Cabaret, winner of eight Tony awards, reminds us that it is no good sitting alone in your room. Craig Lucas' Reckless closes the first half of the season with a zany Christmas treat. In the second half of the season, we honor the memory of William Shakespeare by producing The Comedy of Errors and The Tempest. Mounting both of these productions at once is a wonderful opportunity for our artists and patrons to experience an early and a late work by the Bard. We close out the season with Jonathan Larson's poignant musical, Rent. Please join us as we travel down roads familiar and new."
