Casting call for feature film shooting in Wilcox, AZ for one day in late July.

SEPTEMBER 12th is a contemporary musical chronicling America in the days immediately after 9/11 as two strangers, both folk musicians stranded in Los Angeles, embark on a cross-country road trip together back to New York. A true love letter to America, SEPTEMBER 12th is a reminder of a moment in time when humanity triumphed over tragedy.

Casting two roles:

GAS STATION OWNER

(30-40s) Male, Hispanic. An immigrant who is living his version of the American dream and has an abundance of natural warmth about him. A small business owner who thus far has made good on his promise to show his son a better upbringing than he had. The events of 9/11 have illuminated in him an understanding of our interconnectedness as Americans and human beings. Must be fluent in Spanish, English and ideally located somewhere near Willcox, AZ

OWNER'S SON

(6-10) Hispanic, ideally the actual son of the actor who plays the owner. Precocious, playful and constantly smiling. He has no idea how good he has it and nor should he. He's a kid who's more interested in sugar highs and building forts than anything else. Must be fluent in Spanish, English and ideally located somewhere near Willcox, AZ.
