Hi everyone,
We're excited about our next Lisa Otey and the Desert Divas concert at the Gaslight Theatre, located at 7010 E. Broadway, at the SW corner of Broadway and Kolb. On Monday, August 24, at 7:00pm, we'll celebrate the music of Motown, including the songs of Gladys Knight and the Pips, the Temptations, Martha and the Vandellas, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and many more. Tickets are selling fast, so get yours now! The Gaslight sells tickets by the table, so you can get a table for 1 to 4 people. All seats are reserved. Tickets for Lisa Otey and the Desert Divas: Motown! are $20 and are available by calling 520.886.9428. You can also reserve a table now for our next show at the Gaslight, "Fabulous Fifties: Rock & Roll Divas", coming up Monday, October 19!
On another note, Diane and Lisa have several performances coming up at some of our favorite restaurants. This Saturday, July 11, we'll be on the covered and climate-controlled garden patio at Hacienda del Sol, 5501 N. Hacienda del Sol (near Sunrise). They have delicious food like Wagyu burgers and Linguine and capers in lemon butter sauce (Yum!). We'll be there from 6-9pm, this Saturday, July 11. When you call for reservations (520.529.3500), let them know you're there to hear the music!
On Wednesday, July 15, we'll be back at the Highlands at Dove Mountain (4949 W. Heritage Club Blvd., near Dove Mountain and Tangerine) for "Grille It! Night" on their misted and covered patio overlooking the Catalinas and Tucson mountains. We'll sing from 5:30-7:30pm. The Highlands Bar & Grille will serve burgers, BBQ pork ribs and chicken sandwiches until 7, and the bar will remain open til 7:30pm. Reservations are suggested, 520.579.9583.
