Valley of the Moon is starting production this August, 2016 on our October show: Sleepy Hollow! This is a great way to get involved as a volunteer at Valley of the Moon. Come be a part of Living Magic in Tucson.
CASTING CALL AND REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
We are forming the cast for Sleepy Hollow. There are both non-speaking and speaking roles available. Participation is family friendly and free. No previous experience is required. Headshots and resumés are NOT required; just show up ready to work and have fun! Interested actors should attend all of the casting call dates as we will be using this time to get to know one another and feel out who is best for each role.
Everyone is welcome to join the Valley Players: youngsters, oldsters, hipsters, everyone! Valley of the Moon is a place where the whole family can volunteer together. Regardless of prior experience there is a place in our show for you! There is no age limit and no experience necessary.
There are opportunities for crew volunteers as well. We need lighting techs, prop builders, tour followers, advertisers, cleaners, ticket sellers, carnival workers and more!
Being a Valley Player requires a significant commitment. The rewards are joy, happiness, new friends, new skills, and fame and fortune (well, at least fame). Actors should plan on attending ALL casting calls, ALL rehearsals, and ALL show dates. It is a big commitment but is very rewarding. We do recognize that sometimes life happens, so please let the director know if you have to miss any dates.
Children under 13 must have a parent (or designated adult guardian) on site at all times. There's plenty of fun work for parents too!
