This wonderfully wonky family production is based on the book by Roald Dahl and directed by Mickey Nugent with a cast of talented Pima students. A magical wonka-rific set draws the audience in with oversized fantastical moving contraptions inspired by Rube Goldberg.

The crazy antics of Willy Wonka delight the audience with creative anticipation as Charlie Bucket and the rest of the golden ticket holders go on an adventurous tour of Wonka's amazing world-famous chocolate factory. In this candy-coated fantasy world Charlie, Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde and Veruca Salt discover the true meaning of teamwork, self-confidence and self-esteem under the eccentric guidance of Willy Wonka.

Scout Theatre Adventure Night: Saturday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. Discount tickets provided for girl scouts, boy scouts and their leaders. After the play, scouts can take a peak at the backstage area and learn about the sets, costumes, lighting and acting processes during the onstage Q&A session with the cast and director.

Six sold out school matinee performances begin Sept. 21. Schools can also sponsor a
school family theatre event on Sat. Sept. 24 and Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. Discount tickets are vailable for school family groups along with post show activities. Call the box office at 206-6986.
