Subject: Unscrewed Theater/ShelShines Improv 101 Scholarship
Unscrewed Theater/ShelShines Improv 101 Scholarship - Application Deadline is February 28, 2017
Unscrewed Theater, in partnership with ShelShines, is offering a scholarship for a student to attend its next Improv 101 course, starting Wednesday, March 8, 2017 and ending April 26, 2017. The scholarship offered by Unscrewed Theater is for the $150 enrollment fee for its Improv 101 course for one qualified applicant.
Executive Director Chis Seidman described the scholarship opportunity as, "The Unscrewed Theater/ShelShines Scholarship is to award improvisers the opportunity to study improvisational theater. Scholarships are awarded to students who exhibit financial need along with a desire to learn an art form that prides itself on taking care of others, making your scene partner look good, being supportive on and off stage, and thinking fast on your feet."
"Shel Shines" - Shelley Shelton - is a jewelry lady with a journalism addiction, and also the long-suffering (but proud) "other half" to one of Unscrewed Theater's own improv students, on top of being a general fan of Unscrewed Theater. Check out her jewelry catalogs online at www.shelshines.mypremierdesigns.com.
Applications are accepted until February 28, 2017 by 12:00 Midnight. A letter of recommendation is required. More information is available at: http://bit.ly/Improv101ScholarshipShelShines
