Subject: A Midsummer Night's Dream

A Midsummer Night's Celebration 21 actors, ranging in age from under five
to over 60, have been coming to the Boys and Girls Club of Bisbee each
weekend play Shakespeare. Each one is an integral part of Bisbee's Obscure
Productions "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Shakespeare has provided great
characters for the actors: royalty, young lovers, fairies and "rustics."
"Pyramus and Thisbe," the rustic's play-within-a-play, is one of the
funniest pieces of theater ever written.

The actors will perform this silly and exciting piece on Midsummer's Night,
June 21, and the following weekend, June 23 and 24, in Bisbee's City Park.
And the show will be free, thanks to the production company and its
community sponsors. Generous individual and corporate sponsors have each
contributed $50 or $100, which entitles them to program credit and two seats
in the audience. The company also received support from the Bisbee
Foundation. "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is also sponsored by the Bisbee Arts
Commission and the City of Bisbee, owner of City Park. Performances will
start at 7:30 pm, and patrons should arrive early and bring their own
chairs.

For more information or to help sponsor this truly community production,
please contact Bisbee's Obscure Productions at (520) 432-2901.
