AmeriCorps members learn how to make the arts accessible. Dance, drama, art, ceramics and music fill the halls and the daily lives of people who come to Arts for All, Inc. Through a Aummer Arts Camp, preschool, after school activities and a day program for adults with developmental disabilities there are many opportunities to learn about the world of the arts and disability. AmeriCorps members have had profound experiences, some changing the course of their lives to go back to school for art education, to be a professional care provider, to being a preschool teacher. Only you will know if it is right for you - why not call and come and see if this is where you would like to be. Requirements include Class I fingerprint clearance, TB test, CPR, First Aid and 100 hours of training. AmeriCorps pays for all of this including providing a stipend and education award at the end of the service hours.
