Auditions for
Dear Edwina Jr.
Arts for All will hold auditions for Dear Edwina Jr., Monday, August 20 through Friday, August 24, 2007. Auditions will be held by appointment from 10am – 6pm at Arts for All, 2520 N. Oracle Road. Edwina, a girl with a talent for advise, is trying to get her weekly T.V. show to the Kalamazoo Advice-A-Polooza Festival.This musical production is a terrific show for young performers and all audiences.
Arts for All is seeking actors of all abilities ages 8-18. Experience in theater and improvisation is great but not necessary. We are also seeking young actors versed in or willing to learn American Sign Language. Actors with and without disabilities are encouraged to audition.
Actors should come prepared to show their talent with a two to five minute performance. Show us the best of what you can do; monologues, dances, musical instruments, singing, balancing spoons on your nose, show us what you can do!
We can work with anybody who is willing to;
-Work as team -Focus -Learn - Have fun
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals - Participate 100%
Two evening rehearsals will be held on selected weekdays and Saturdays from August 27 through October 18, 2007. Each rehearsal will be two and a half hours in length and will be scheduled to fit performers’ schedules. Performances will be October 19 – November 4, 2007, at Arts for All’s Little Theater. There will also be a special student matinee at Pima Community College.
