Next month, local performer Liz Cracchiolo will present her Third Annual Charity Cabaret to benefit Tee Up For Tots in support of local children with pediatric cancers.

Liz is a native Tucsonan and has been performing most of her life. With a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona, Liz works as a Financial Advisor, and in her spare time she often performs in musicals as well as for charity functions and private events. This past February she played Georgie in Arizona Onstage Productions’ “THE FULL MONTY.”  The Arizona Daily Star’s Kathy Allen

wrote  . . .  “She was a kick to watch and even more fun to hear sing – she has a beautiful voice.”

Most recently, Liz appeared in Arizona Onstage Productions’ “BARK! THE MUSICAL,” which played to sellout crowds for 13 shows and which will return for a limited run in February. “Cracchiolo brings a bit of New York attitude and a subtle sense of humor . . . she gives a fantastic performance . . .” Arizona Daily Star – Levi J. Long

Liz’s goal for this cabaret is that it will become richer and more wonderful each year. “I am looking forward to selling out the Music Hall sometime soon!”  This show, benefiting HOPP (Hematology/Oncology Patients and Parents), a soft spot with Ms. Cracchiolo, is in conjunction with Tee Up for Tots. “My sister has worked in the clinic at UMC for over 10 years, so through her I have learned how much it means to help these amazing kids and their families. It is thrilling for me to raise much- needed funding for HOPP.”

Liz brings a new and unique theme to each of her shows. In 2006 she presented “Me and the Boys,” which celebrated some of her favorite male singers and songwriters. This year, the show “With a Twist” gives Liz and her music director Khris Dodge an opportunity to present some well-known music in a whole new way. “It’s incredibly exciting to take a song that many people know and love and have them hear it in a totally new way. Khris and I very much enjoy putting a jazz feel to what once was a pop, rock or even reggae song.”  The audience will hear works by such artists as the Beatles, Elton John, Sting, and Bob Marley.  This will be an event that people will talk about for months to come.
