This zany classroom adventure, adapted from the popular novels of Louis Sachar, is filled with tornado drills, talking pigtails, and wicked teachers who turn students into apples.  Wayside is a school that teems with exciting and sideways antics; however, the workings of good and evil are still relevant in this playful setting and must be dealt with through the power of magic and the strength of children.  Wayside is a satisfying meal for starved imaginations.

etc...Educational Theatre Company was created to give students in the BFA Theatre Education program the opportunity to produce plays and educational programs for young audiences. The company is committed to producing quality scripts and developing new plays for young audiences. While the School of Theatre Arts faculty serve as advisors for etc..., productions are student-directed, designed and acted. The productions are performed first on campus and then toured to area schools during the fall semester of the academic year.
