Subject: Casting for UA Senior Films and Actors for Directing Workshops
OPEN CASTING CALL for University of Arizona BFA Senior Thesis Films
Monday, September 10th, 1-3pm, Harvill Building Room 104
The School of Media Arts BFA Seniors are holding an open casting call for the 11 Senior Thesis Films shooting this fall. The films are all genres and are seeking all types of actors. Past BFA senior thesis films have shown at Sundance and numerous regional film festivals.
Interested actors should prepare a short (under one minute) monologue and bring 2 copies of their headshot/resume. Actors may alternatively audition with a partner and present a two-person scene (of no more than two-minutes in length). To reserve an audition slot, please contact Lisanne Skyler, School of Media Arts, skyler@email.arizona.edu.
In addition, actors are invited to further explore collaborations with BFA film directors by participating in Media Arts Senior Thesis directing workshops on September 17th, 19th, 24th and 26th from 1-3pm Harvill 104. Please contact Lisanne Skyler, skyler@email.arizona.edu to inquire further.
