Beowulf Alley Announces Auditions for Its First Play of the 2007-2008 Season

 

Beowulf Alley Theatre Company is holding auditions for the second male actor in its first play of 2007, STONES IN HIS POCKETS by Marie Jones.

 

Auditions will take place on Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 2p-6p at the Beowulf Alley Theater, 11 S Sixth Ave, downtown Tucson, between Broadway and Congress.

 

Two male actors play multiple roles in this critically acclaimed, fast-paced Irish comedy. 

Predominantly a performance piece, both actors must have good improvisational skills, be adept with accents and appear in age to be mid-30’s. Sides will be provided at the audition and preparation time will be given.  Each actor will read opposite the other from the sides.

 

The show begins rehearsing on September 17th and opens on November 10th with a four week run, Thursdays through Sundays. A stipend will be paid.
